For the record my name is Dianna. Dee-Dee is my nickname.
I get people asking me all the time if they should call me Dianna or Dee-Dee. I answer to both names, but I usually refer to myself as Dianna.
When I was born my family thought Dianna was way too grown up of a name for a little girl so they called me Dee-Dee. When I was about 5 or 6 years old I decided I wanted to be more grown up and I insisted that people call me Dianna. Now I don't care what people call me (as long as its nice).

I don't think life gets any better than when someone goes by a nickname than by their given name.
I'm jealous because I always wanted a nickname that EVERYONE knew me by.

I have that same problem! Born with the name Brandalyn, I like it but no one every calls me by it. As for you I will always know you as cousin DeeDee!
