German Oven Pancakes

I love German Oven Pancakes! I especially love how buttery they are.

German Oven Pancakes

6 eggs
1 cup flour
1 cup milk
1/2 teaspoon salt
5 tablespoons butter

Whip eggs until thin. Add flour, milk and salt. Mix (I like to use a hand mixer,I think it helps them raise higher) and set aside.

Heat oven to 450 degrees.
Place butter in 9x13 glass pan and heat in oven until melted.
pour batter into pan of melted butter. Bake 15-20 minutes.

  2. I am a bit of a plain Jane and like just the butter that's already on them. My family likes them with syrup or powdered sugar though.
